The Perfect Iced Coffee Recipe

Iced CoffeeI love coffee, but sometimes a hot drink is simply not what I desire.

On a warm summer day, Iced Coffee is the perfect drink to serve while sitting outside or lounging poolside.  Several members of my family actually prefer my iced coffee in the car.  If they happen to spill their coffee, they are not burned if it is Iced Coffee.

This is actually a recipe my daughter and I perfected together several years ago when she was still in high school.  She needed a cool beverage for a school function, but wanted to serve a coffee drink.

It has now become a family afternoon coffee standard.

When I lived in the Deep South, I thrived on iced coffee. It is so refreshing anywhere, but especially delicious when living in places that never seem to get below 90 degrees and 200% humidity. I plan to try your recipe. Sounds delicious. Thanks!

  2. Sounds yummy. Could I add a tiny bit of Bailey’s Irish Cream to the milk ingredient? 🙂

Mmmm! Exactly the kind of recipe that suits me: I’m a coffee addict and love iced coffee with a passion. But the best part of this recipe is that this coffee is soooooooooooooo easy to make.

Yes, I am a coffee crazy person, too. But I love easy. And this recipe for iced coffee looks easy. With the warmer weather coming, I’m definitely going to give this one a whirl! Of course, though, I have to add chocolate to it!!!

I love coffee, hot in the cold weather and iced in warm weather. Though this may not be proper as far as coffee goes, we let our pot go cold after brewing and either heat a cup in the microwave or have it iced after our first hot cup.
